What is WiseImage
WiseImage is a basic hybrid drawing editor. Hybrid drawings consist of monochrome, grayscale and color raster images overlaid with vector elements. Multiple raster images can be loaded and the number of raster images handled simultaneously is unlimited. WiseImage allows you to edit and update scanned maps, drawings, sketches, and other graphics. With WiseImage you can:

Color separation tool for separating color on various layers for easy raster editing
Clean up raster noise through a selection of filters including smoothing, thickening and thinning, speckle removal, and hole filling
Edit raster symbols with the raster object selection feature that enables you to select raster lines, arcs, and circles using tools similar to those for vector selection.
Create raster copies of vector objects and add them to the raster image.

All of these features are easy to use. WiseImage runs inside of AutoCAD.

Works with Color and Grayscale Raster Images
WiseImage allows you to crop color and grayscale raster images, change their resolution and scale, deskew them, and eliminate linear and non linear deformations using the calibration feature. You can change brightness, contrast, hue and saturation, adjust the color gamut of image using a histogram, improve image quality and apply a set of color filters (Blur, Unsharp, Mask, Median). With WiseImage, you can draw on these images and create raster objects by rasterizing vector objects to color raster, and merge monochrome raster images with color ones.

New Tracing Capabilities
To Convert a raster symbol, line, arc, circle or outline to a vector object, a user only has to pick a point on the source raster object. The tracing mode can be set to retain, delete or smooth the original raster object. WiseImage can also recognize raster hatches and trace arbitrary raster curves by AutoCAD polylines. When tracing polylines, the program can automatically define the most probable trace direction.

Flexible User Interface
WiseImage gives users the ultimate flexibility by allowing them to create their working environment for the software by altering the layout or removing unnecessary commands and buttons. With WiseImage users can configure their own toolbars and menus. WiseImage runs under Windows 98, NT 4.0, 2000, ME, and XP. WiseImage runs inside of AutoCAD.

Document Management
WiseImage is a stand-alone module of IDEAL's IntraNETIX Online PlanRoom, browser-based document management software. Archive existing paper drawings and CAD files for easy retrieval to your company's intranet or to the Internet. Index and view existing paper drawings and CAD files using a standard browser. Use WiseImage to edit the scanned images as needed and then archive the most current revision back on the intranet or the Internet.
