High
Performance Scanning
Eprints4u’s Scan to Print system is for large format color graphics up
to
wide (E-Size) by any length on media up to 0.6” thick, where color
fidelity is very important. Color is captured at 48 bits for maximum
color precision, passing the best 24 bits of color data to the
computer. The Eprints4u Scan to Print system supports Area Diffusion
Logic
(ADL) which allows documents containing mixed photographic and line-art
(including text) areas to be captured with greater detail. In addition,
The Eprints4u scan to print system supports Accuracy Lens Enhancement
Technology (ALE) that electronically maintains 0.1% +/- 1 pixel
precision across any two points of the scan line thus exceeding even
the most rigid requirements. With this system there is a very high
grade of precision stability in the scanned image.
Color Matching Software
Eprints4u’s scan to print system includes color calibration and ICC
profiles – optimized for a variety of ink and media combinations to
provide consistent, accurate color from image capture, color mapping,
and transfer directly the system’s inkjet plotter. A thumbnail preview
gives you the ability to spot check your jobs before you print,
reducing the need for reprinting. And, when you select Conserve Media
Placement, jobs are automatically arranged and positioned for maximum
media usage. A nesting preview provides visual assurance that you’re
getting the most out of your media.
Production Printing
Eprints4u’s scan to print system has print speeds of 150 sf/hr in
Productivity Mode and 220 sf/hr in High Speed Mode. It prints on a wide
variety of medi with up to 1200 x 600 resolution. The Rapid Evaporation
Drying System ensures that your prints are instantly ready for take-up,
even at full machine speed. For true unattended printing, there is an
Intermediate Ink Reservoir maintains a constant supply of ink to the
print head, and a warning system indicates when ink is getting low. The
staggered Carriage Assembly provides better image quality and easy
cartridge replacement, while an Active Service Station automatically
fills, primes and cleans your ink cartridges. The total result is
optimal performance, less maintenance and greater printer uptime.
